How the Pulse is produced
- Who
- Verified members of the Afridence panel: adults living in Nigeria whose address has been checked and who agreed that grouped results can be published.
- What
- Their answers to our profile questions about shopping, money, phones, power, media and daily life. Members confirm or update these answers every few months.
- Minimum numbers
- Every chart shows how many people it is based on. No chart is published with fewer than 100 answers, and no group with fewer than 30.
- Limits
- Panel members chose to join, so they are not a random national sample, and figures are not weighted. They show patterns among connected adults, not exact national totals.
- Privacy
- Only group figures are ever published. No one can be identified. Data is handled under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Need figures for your own category, region or audience? We can run a study on the same panel.
